It is an honour for me to hold the position of Director of Operations for Thunderchild First Nation and to lead management in administrative responsibilities. I take great pride as a First Nations band member of Thunderchild First Nation. I thank the current Chief and Council for appointing me to this position and I will make every effort to fulfill my responsibilities and serve my community.

Jerry Okanee was born at the North Battleford Indian Hospital and is the son of Nancy Okanee and late William Okanee. Jerry grew up in the community of Thunderchild and attended University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and is the first winner of the Poundmaker Memorial Scholarship. His family is proud of him as an administrator serving his community.
